So happy to be back in the swing of things. I wont be going to nearly as many conventions as last year, but hopefully these will be good ones! Some places I will be found is: colossalcon, dragoncon, NYCC, and Baltimore Comic Con for starters! I am revamping a ton of new things as well as making new ones, so be on the lookout for a flood of new photos that will be coming!

Welcome to all new people coming to my corner of the internet, as well! Feel free to share any of my photos, but dont forget to credit not only me, but the photographers as well.

Feel free to also follow my shenanigans on facebook: www.facebook.com/ginabcos or on twitter: twitter.com/ginabcosplay I always tweet back to whoever drops in!
It's been so long since I've updated here, and I want to give some warm welcome to my new watchers here! Welcome to my life of cosplay.

I am super happy to report that I am finally leaving the bakery I worked at to use my degree of Japanese translation, and East Asian culture studies, to work at an international medical clinic in manhattan. It's a big deal for me to finally have a career, not a job. This means my con schedule is going to be limited to the upcoming summer, as I cannot take off for a few months. It also means my life will become wonky as I am looking for yet another new apartment to live in. It's so exiting though to have so much change on the horizon.

In the meantime, I am really looking forward to making new cosplay, and remaking/upgrading a lot of what I have, namely Officer Jenny, Major Kusanagi, and Kanu Unchou.

I am also going to stop taking on commissions, as I cannot work a full time job and complete them on time for people anymore.

Anyone interested in purchasing prints, I ask them to go instead to my store here: ginabcosplay.storenvy.com/ as deviantart keeps most of the money for prints, and I will never see it.

When will my next convention be? COLOSSALCON in June! Since its a water park, I am planning on bringing sexy back and hitting it hard with some poolside outfits.
My goodness, my updates here are far and few in between. Things have been busy for me, Ive updated my "been to" list for cons, as well as my "projected cons" list. interested to see where I will be? just check my "about me" on any of my profiles and you can check it out!

Now that I am recovering from my apt flood, I am going to continue to do what I do, by updating my photos, enjoying life and going to cons. I AM ALSO SELLING SOME COSTUME STUFF on my Ebay! Feel free to check it out, here: myworld.ebay.com/haiirosempai/

I want to thank those who continue to support me and share my images to places such as reddit, 9gag, imgur, pinterest, etc. I wouldnt be anything without that support, but please remember to credit me! Either credit it back here, to this DA account, or even my Fan Page: www.facebook.com/ginabcos

Lots of new stuff going on! After Katsucon, I was able to work with Elysiam Entertainment, and will have new photos to post, and prints for sale in the Elysiam store. I will be using these three months of down time to gradually post those, work on commissions, and craft some new costumes for my next con: Anime Boston. I am also planning on attending the Sakura Matsuri in Brooklyn once I find out the dates for those.
New photos of things you can look forward to: Velma, Mai Shiranui, Officer Jenny, Cammy, and Sailor Mars. I will also be working on a bunch of throwback outfits, from shows back in the 90s. I have at least one new costume planned for the next three cons I go to, so I hope everyone is excited as I am

I would like to start this note off by formally thanking an individual who goes by username "MrFruitCup" on Reddit. He has shared a number of my photos there, and they have always made top posts when he does. I cannot thank you enough for the support you have given me there. Though I know that he isnt my only fan who has proven a great amount of support. I have been receiving such warm and positive reactions from so many people, that I cannot put into words just how appreciative I am. I would be nothing without all of you guys! As always, I tell fans who ask if they wish to share me to other photo platforms, please feel free to; just remember to credit me! So Katsucon is just around the corner, how exciting! For a while, there was a scare about a "no butt" policy regarding this con, but I am ignoring it and bringing my original lineup anyway. I will be bringing Velma, not only to wear about on Thursday before the con officially starts, but as a backup outfit just in case I get kicked out for my weekend of ass filled cosplay. What is my lineup you ask? Well, I was commissioned to make a white alternate version of Cammy from SF as seen here: www.dropbox.com/s/pqasjt3ved69… and will be wearing that Friday, alongside a Vega, Yun and Yang. Saturday, I will be wearing Revy from Black Lagoon, and then I plan to wear Major Kusanagi on Sunday, whom I remade most of the outfit for. I am hoping to not only get a copious amount of photos at the con, but I am trying to coerce Elysiam Entertainment to work with me outside of the con for a series of new photos and even PRINTS, as his store is now officially open at his page: Elysiam.org he will have a series of my prints for sale. We plan on changing the inventory of what is available from time to time to keep things fresh and fun. A customization button will soon be available too, meaning I will not only sign them, but if you type in what you would like me to write, I can write a little blurb too =]

I hope everyone has been enjoying the slow, but steady stream of new photos!

The next convention I am going to will be Katsucon this February. I have a fun lineup coming along, but I am unsure as to whether or not the convention will allow me to wear it. It has come to my attention that the convention may start targeting people with exposed bottoms to be removed from the con. I say fuck it, and I am still going to do my original plan, but bring some backups just in case anything happens. That being said, my lineup will be: a fan funded, white alternate Cammy www.dropbox.com/s/pqasjt3ved69…, Revy from Black Lagoon, and Major Kusanagi. If I am asked to change from the outfits, I am bringing Velma as a backup costume, as well as Juri from Yu Yu Hakusho.

In the meantime, I am not only making the outfits, but embellishing as always. I am working on some sniper and assault rifles as well as an RPG, all to be interchanged between Revy and the Major. I am also having Revy's guns custom casted by a black smith to ensure they are true replicas. For the Major, I am also improving the wig, and fixing up her outfit. For Cammy, I am also organizing a big group of SF people at the con to really amp it all up. Hopefully this lineup is well received at the con!

As always, I post all my progress photos to twitter www.twitter.com/GinaBCosplay and I always post official photos to my FB page first: www.facebook.com/ginabcos

I am also looking for new photographers in my area to work with. If you are interested, pop me a message and let me see your portfolio and maybe we can work something out. I have been working mostly with Elysiam Entertainment, but I can no longer afford his rates.

I will be attending Anime USA for my birthday this November, and I plan on bringing the official lineup of (in this order) Sailor Mars, Seung Mina, and Velma twitter.com/GinaBCosplay/statu… . I also Plan on upgrading things a bit, so Mars will get a new fancy fire bow, and I am hoping to improve the quality of Seung Mina a bit, and fix up my shoes for Velma.

I AM ALSO DOING OFFICIAL PHOTO SHOOTS OF ALL THREE CHARACTERS AT THIS CON. Meaning, Ill have a whole butt ton of new and flirty photos of Velma for all you Velma fans, along with official stuff Seung Mina and Mars. FINALLY. Ill be working again with Elysiam Entertainment, though I may end up having additional photos from other photographers as well. we shall see.

I also got commissioned to make, and showcase an alternate outfit for Cammy, as seen here www.dropbox.com/s/pqasjt3ved69… and I plan on bringing her to Katsucon. After AUSA is over, I will be tweeting tons of progress pictures on that, and on a series of assault rifles, and other guns Ill be making to upgrade my Major Kusanagi with. I am also putting together a Revy from Black lagoon for Katsucon... so look forward to tons of big guns, butt cheeks and badassery there!

As always, I can really use some help in funding all of this. Any type of donation helps me make costumes, send me to cons, and be able to pay my photographer! Feel free to help out, my paypal is ginabcosplay@gmail.com
ACK! so recently I was posted all over reddit and 9gag as Velma from Scooby Doo, and I know this page was linked to most of those posts... to all those who are coming here because of it, I welcome you to my page!

I did a small photo shoot with Elysiam Entertainment while at NYCC, and I will have a few fun (and some fan servicey) photos of her for all of you in a few days time, so look forward to that! I will also be doing another shoot with her in about 3 weeks, so I will have plenty of photos for the internet, and I am now bringing her to Anime USA as well.

For tagged photos from the con, come check out my fanpage: www.facebook.com/GinaBcos

Anyone who wants to help donate for the cause of cosplay and conventions, please feel free to donate to my Paypal: ginabcosplay@gmail.com
So NYCC totally wiped me out. I think I am totally sick with con plague, but hopefully it goes away soon. I had a fun time working a booth this time around, and tons of people came and visited me, which was so awesome. I am glad to have so many fans and friends who care.
I had a fun, yet toned down lineup, since I was working, and my booth owner said I had to be "family friendly" (which most of my stuff isnt), and so I was an alternate outfit Hatsune Miku, Sailor Mars, Velma from Scooby Doo, and Officer Jenny. I am getting tagged in a slew of photos on my Facebook if you are curious to go check it all out. I was able to get a few photos of my Hatsune Miku, and I got a small photo shoot done of Velma (with some fan service pics thrown in!) so hopefully in a few weeks Ill be able to post some more official photos here!

In the meantime, I will be working hard on cleaning up some of my costumes for my next con, Anime USA! As of now, my lineup will be: Seung Mina from Soul Calibur III, Officer Jenny, and Sailor Mars. I am already arranging some photo shoots while at the con for them, so again, I am hoping to be able to start posting some pictures regularly again!

I am still as broke as ever though, so anyone who wishes to help send me to cons or help fund my costuming, anything is appreciated. my Paypal is ginabcosplay@gmail.com.
So due to a lot of financial reasons, my con attending schedule is being thrown out of wack. I want to upgrade some weapons for my Major Kusanagi, and finish my Revy from Black Lagoon. I need to fix up my Felicia from Darkstalkers to bring if I can somehow get a badge to PAX East. I also need to figure out how to fund getting my stuff over to LA for Anime Expo for some bigger and badder stuff I had planned for there....

Want to help fund sending me to cons in more places? Want to see me upgrade to insane weapons and awesome new costumes? Feel free to donate via Paypal at ginabcosplay@gmail.com . I really appreciate anything that anyone can help out with.
So I was hired to work booth number 664 (Anime Gifts) at NYCC. I am both excited for the experience, and upset with how it will limit me from doing cosplay of my choice. I have to dress "family friendly" if I am to be in costume, so I thought Id bring out some old stuff I havent worn in a while, like Velma from Scooby Doo, and Sailor Mars, and even Officer Jenny.
This will be my first time working a booth, so I am really nervous. Hopefully enough people come over to buy things, and not just take my picture or what... I dont want to anger my booth manager!

I am also working hard on fixing up some cosplay I am bringing to Anime USA, namely my Seung Mina costume that I had brought to AX.
I am also trying to figure out a few new items for Katsucon. But since my right arm is in a bubble cast from over using power tools and tearing some tendons and stuff, its been really slow progress for everything. I take it off when I am in costume (I know I shouldnt but I cant let it ruin my photos) so thats why most of you havent really seen it, but wearing it while making things has been proving really disadvantageous.
