Hi! I love this- you did SUCH an amazing job!!! I love Sango, and I'm planning on cosplaying her. May I ask- is that your real hair? It looks like it- and I'm just wondering because I'm trying to figure out if I need to buy a wig or not for Sango, and this is quite possibly the best "Sango hair" I've seen. I'm so worried about getting it right- because it's basically the first thing you see on a character. Any pointers or tips would be very much appreciated!!! Thank you. Keep up the great cosplay work!!!
Yes, this is in fact my real hair. My hair is naturally really curly, but I keep it cut with a traditional face frame bang so that when I straighten it, it has an anime look to it. I also style it in a very 80s way to have the big poof bang
Nice! As a theatre major who's studied costume and special effects makeup-- may I ask how you did the wounds? I can see the edge where it connects to the skin and, if you'd like, I'd be happy to give you some pointers to make them look ultra-realistic.
I thank you! Its honestly the first time I even attempted to use a product like that and I was sorely under prepared with no one in my room willing to assist me in putting it on. A lot of guess work went into it. I was armed with a prosthetic piece that was not meant for that part of my face, some spirit gum, and a paltry amount of liquid latex that wouldnt work the way I wanted it to.
